Looking to bounce back from last nights loss against the DMV Warriors, the Hawks hit the road to take on the Fredericksburg Grizzlies in their inaugural home opener!
Both teams went play-for-play throughout most of the game, but Baltimore Hawks defeated Fredericksburg Grizzlies 111-109 on Sunday. Baltimore Hawks sealed their victory in the fourth quarter on a free throw from Dishawn Bradshaw.
Baltimore Hawks fell behind early, trailing 51-43 by the half, only to come back hard in the final two quarters. Both Fredericksburg Grizzlies and Baltimore Hawks played hard, with 38 and 36 personal fouls, respectively. Bradshaw led the charge for Baltimore Hawks' offense, scoring 32 points, with 12 points during the first period. He also contributed five rebounds and two steals.
Two other players also racked up double digit scores for Baltimore Hawks. Eian Davis racked up 24 points and 10 rebounds. Jarwand Rheubottom put two three-pointers on the board and scored 23 points total.
