Baltimore Hawks Announces 2016-17 Home Opener!

Baltimore, MD - The Baltimore Hawks is pleased to announce the start of season three as a member of the American Basketball Association (ABA). The Hawks will kick off the 2016-17 Season with a rematch against Rival, DMV Warriors! Scheduled for Saturday November 5th, the game will tip-off at 6:30 PM at St. Frances Academy located at 501 E. Chase St. Balto., MD 21202. Get your tickets now!

The 2016-17 Hawks features an abundance of talent which includes several returning players, which is led by last years leading scorer, Dishawn Bradshaw who contributed 27 PPG for the Hawks in 2015-16. In addition, some key newcomers include Brooklyn, NY native and 2014 NJCAA MVP Eian Davis from Albertus Magnus College; and Maryland natives, Akeem Echols from Shaw University and Edward Oliver of Goucher University.

Many of you probably remember the original ABA, the league that brought you the red, white, and blue basketball; The Slam Dunk Contest, 3 Point Shot, and legends like: Dr. J, George Gervin, Mel Daniels, Rick Barry, David Thompson and many other players who went to great fame when the ABA merged into the NBA when the Denver Nuggets, San Antonio Spurs, New Jersey Nets, and Indiana Pacers joined the league. Well, in 2000, 16 years ago, the ABA was reborn - and that's the league our team is a part of.
