Reaching Out To The Community
Not only are they champions on the court, the HAWKS are role model champions off the court in their community outreach efforts through visits to schools, Boys & Girls Club, YMCA, medical facilities and charity events. The Baltimore Hawks will be sponsoring designated games for different organizations, youth athletic teams, schools, non-profits, etc. To request a player or coach appearance, please e-mail our Director of Operations, Brandon Miles: [email protected] . Unfortunately, all requests for appearances cannot be fulfilled. You will receive a response via e-mail whether or not your requests can be honored within a week.
The Baltimore Hawks would like to meet the community and do what we can to build tomorrow’s leaders. If you would like us to come out to speak at your school or participate at an event, please email [email protected],
In response to team owner Greg Brown request that each Hawks player become actively involved in the community, the team has responded with 100% participation.
During their first season (2014-15) and second season (2015-16), the Hawks players made over 20 personal appearances in the community each year. Their message stresses staying in school, working hard for what you get, and the ABA national message of NO BULLYING.
